I am Penka. I have spent twenty years studying and practising psychology — developing a deep understanding of what it means to truly flourish, not just function. Managing people, holding space under pressure, and sitting with the questions that matter most — this has always been where I feel most alive.
Alongside that, I have spent twenty years studying and practising psychology — from Applied Psychology and Criminology, through Humanistic Therapeutic Counselling, to an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. The academic and the human have always run together in me. Neither one alone would have been enough.
Most approaches to wellbeing begin with what is wrong. This one begins with what is possible. Rooted in Positive Psychology and Humanistic Counselling, the work here is not about diagnosing or repairing — it is about understanding what a genuinely good life looks and feels like for you, and moving toward it.
Humanistic psychology holds that every person is inherently capable of growth, meaning-making, and self-understanding — given the right conditions. You are not broken. You may simply be undernourished. That is a different starting point, and it leads somewhere different.
Modern life has quietly dismantled something ancient — the relationship between meaning, belonging, and how we nourish ourselves. We have kept the busyness. We have lost the depth. Restoring that thread — personally, deliberately — is one of the most radical acts of self-care available to us.
